Insurance Waiver
I am fully aware of all the insurance I am currently covered by, including credit card coverage, work related insurance or any other insurance coverage I may have, and I feel that my existing insurance is sufficient. I understand that I am solely responsible for any cancellation penalties and out-of-pocket expenses incurred. I understand that I will also be responsible for making my own separate travel / medical arrangements, and any other provisions in the event of an emergency while I am traveling. I am aware that some insurance companies or credit card companies, may or may not cover me for all the components covered by Manulife Insurance. Please visit https://www.insureye.com/ for all Canadian credit card coverage details. I also understand that I am not protected from loss in the event of any travel vendor, travel supplier or any travel-related operator default. This waiver confirms that I voluntarily decline travel insurance. I understand I am solely liable for all airline fees, supplier fees, and agency fees that may apply, and I hereby release any / all liability against my travel agent, I Do! Dream Destination Weddings, it's representatives and its host agency. You also acknowledge that travel insurance was offered to all parties travelling with you. The client/passenger paying for the trip if authorized, may sign on behalf of other travelling companions. Protect your investment and family. Adding medical insurance is a good way to supplement your current coverage to protect you in an event of any major issues and is highly recommended. The cost is minimal in comparison to suffering a financial hardship. I Decline the offer to purchase Trip Cancellation and Out of Country Insurance.
COVID-19 Waiver
I ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT I WILL WAIVE CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS and that I and on behalf of and for everyone who is a part of this booking with our travel advisor and I Do! Dream Destination Weddings, in consideration for the services provided by the travel advisor and I Do! Dream Destination Weddings, and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is acknowledged, am waiving certain rights and I acknowledge and fully understand, for myself and everyone who is part of the booking, that: • It is our personal decision to travel, and we are doing so with full knowledge of current travel recommendations and travel restrictions with regards to the risks of COVID-19 • Travel involves the risk of a variety of hazards to health and/or safety, including but not limited to, injury, illness, disease, epidemics, and/or pandemics. The travel advisor and I Do! Dream Destination Weddings assume no responsibility for and shall not be liable for unsafe conditions or health hazards including pandemics or other illnesses. • The travel advisor has no special knowledge of dangers during travel or at destinations and that COVID-19 (or similar pandemic) could cause disruptions, cancellations and changes to our travel arrangements, including cancelled flights, resorts, border closures, airport closures, quarantine and lockdown orders, and other situations and consequences. • I Do! Dream Destination Weddings is not the source or supplier of the travel services I have requested, and I Do! Dream Destination Weddings acts solely as an agent for the suppliers of such services. • Any travel arrangements made may be interrupted or cancelled by the associated travel supplier, a government entity, or another third party outside of I Do! Dream Destination Wedding’s control for reasons that are unforeseeable at this time. I Do! Dream Destination Weddings has no control over the associated supplier's policies which, in addition to applicable law, will solely govern any cancellation, rebooking, and refund related to these travel arrangements. • The purchase of travel insurance is highly recommended and that coverage for circumstances such as these depends on the specific policy I purchase. Any travel insurance policy sold by the travel advisor or I Do! Dream Destination Weddings may not include insurance coverage for travel service cancellations, interruptions, financial, medical, or other COVID-19 Risks, and all types of coverage must be confirmed with the travel insurer. • The travel advisor and I Do! Dream Destination Weddings have no special knowledge of suppliers’ financial conditions and no liability for supplier defaults in the event a supplier goes out of business. • In the event our trip is cancelled by the supplier, the supplier terms and conditions would dictate what compensation may be provided, including refunds or future travel credits. • Should we not be able to travel due to any reason outside the control of the supplier or I Do! Dream Destination Weddings, that a future travel credit may be offered in lieu of a refund. • In no circumstances will the travel advisor, I Do! Dream Destination Weddings, its employees, directors or contractors, be liable to me/us, or any other person, for any refund, loss, damage, delay or injury resulting from any cancellation, interruption, or other event or a failure of any supplier to provide any travel service to me/us, or for any other breach of contract or the intentional or careless act or omission of any supplier of any such travel service. • I expressly understand and agree that I assume all such risks associated with travel whether or not specified herein. • I hereby agree to hold the travel advisor and I Do! Dream Destination Weddings harmless and release it from any and all liability for any damages including, without limitation, monetary losses, damage to person property, illness/disease, delays, negligence, or inconvenience, that I may incur as a result of the circumstances described herein.
